Police close off stretch of main road after woman hit by car

Police have closed off a stretch of a main road in Trafford this morning after a woman was hit by a car. Emergency services were called to the scene of the incident on Chester Road just after 7am.

Police said she is believed to have non-serious injuries. The southbound carriageway of Chester Road remains closed off, near White City Retail Park.

Diversion heading to outer destinations via Talbot Road. This is due to a Police incident on Chester Road/Warwick Road junction.
