Phillip Schofield has expressed his keenness to get back on screen and to This Morning as he gave a glimpse into his half-term break.

Earlier this week viewers of the ITV daytime show were soon commenting on social media when they were welcomed by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary.

The hosting duo were back fronting This Morning on Monday (October 17), days after they helped the show celebrate its latest award win.

And fans of the popular show were quick to realise that Alison and Dermot don't usually host the show, being This Morning Friday's presenters and the Monday to Thursday episodes are usually presented by Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
