Phil Foden has admitted that this Sunday's game against Liverpool is 'massive' and is hopeful Manchester City will 'be ready' for the clash.

Pep Guardiola's side head into this weekend's clash at Anfield on the back of a derby win over Manchester United at the Etihad.

Foden was the star man for City, scoring twice as his side came from one goal down to claim a 3-1 victory. Liverpool are the next team the reigning champions must attempt to find a way past, though history suggests this won't be a straightforward task.

City have won just two of their previous 32 matches at Anfield, and Foden is keen to see that record change.
