Ian Evatt sees Owen Beck as a hybrid of what Jack Iredale and Declan John offer at left wing-back with the Bolton Wanderers boss believing the Liverpool loanee is getting to where he needs to be in terms of fitness.
Beck became the fifth and final signing Wanderers made in the summer transfer window. He joined on loan for the campaign from the Anfield club.
An earlier loan spell at Portuguese side Familicao was cut short after the 20-year-old failed to make an appearance during his time on the Iberian Peninsula.
He has now joined Wanderers foir the season.
