Nottingham Forest could sign one more ‘curveball’ on transfer deadline day and may look to bolster their midfield options, according to talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook. Steve Cooper has overseen an incredibly busy period of business at the City Ground and could still strengthen further ahead of the 11pm cut-off.
This summer, the East Midlands side have already completed a whopping 18 transfers following their promotion from the Championship.
Among those to arrive are Morgan Gibbs-White, Neco Williams, Emmanuel Dennis, Lewis O’Brien, Dean Henderson and Renan Lodi, with well over £100 million spent.
But it was a necessity, with 10 of the matchday squad from the play-off final no longer with the club for various reasons, leaving Cooper with limited options.
