Newcastle are said to be targeting Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay for a summer transfer to Tyneside. The midfielder has been frequently linked with a move to St James’ Park, despite still having two years left on his Old Trafford deal.
The 26-year-old has played 35 times under Erik ten Hag albeit has started just 16 of them. McTominay hit the headlines in March when he netted four goals in Scotland’s two Euro 2024 qualifiers, including a brace in the 2-0 win over Spain.
Despite his form for his country, the academy graduate does not feature in Ten Hag’s best XI. READ MORE: Erik ten Hag admits Manchester United have a plan for Harry Kane And now, Football Insider claims McTominay may seek an exit this summer.
