Newcastle United have received a triple injury boost ahead of Sunday's Carabao Cup final with Joe Willock, Matt Targett and Joelinton likely to be available.

The Magpies trio were spotted in training as Eddie Howe prepares his squad for this weekend's clash against Manchester United at Wembley, having been handed a full week to focus on the clash with no midweek football while the Reds host Barcelona in the Europa League on Thursday evening.

Willock missed Newcastle's 2-0 defeat at home to Liverpool last weekend with a hamstring injury and Howe admitted during a media day on Tuesday that the midfielder was 'touch and go' for the final, while Joelinton was taken off against Jurgen Klopp's side as a precaution.
