Myziane Maolida tipped for Hibs transfer reinvention as Nick Montgomery looks to repeat Jason Cummings trick

dailyrecord.co.uk

Nick Montgomery is confident he can get €10m French ace Myziane Maolida’s career back flying - just like he did with former Hibs ace Jason Cummings.

The Easter Road boss admits Maolida would have been out of the Hibees’ league had it not been for issues that saw him demoted to Hertha Berlin’s second string.

The former Lyon and Nice star became Montgomery ’s first signing after agreeing a loan switch from the Bundesliga II side on Thursday.

And Montgomery reckons the HIbees faithful are in for a treat if he can get the 24-year-old firing just like he did with Cummings at Central Coast Mariners - a move that launched the former HIbee onto the World Cup stage with Australia.
