Philippe Clement has revealed that Rangers star Todd Cantwell has overcome an injury scare following an awkward off-field clash with Hibs boss Nick Montgomery.
After cutting the gap at the top of the league to five points with a win at Easter Road, the Light Blues will look to keep the pressure on Celtic by seeing off St Mirren.
However, it appeared the win had come at a cost with Cantwell appearing to pick up a knock in the first half. Kanayo Megwa and Elie Youan were chasing down the Rangers star and the Hibs duo scythed him down - before he tumbled into the home dugout and taking out Montgomery in the process.
Despite dusting himself down to score in the capital, Cantwell did not emerge for the second half. But before the Scottish Premiership clash in Paisley, the Rangers boss moved to ease fears over his fitness.
