Rangers are finally set to step up their January recruitment drive as they close in a move for Nordsjaelland ace Mohamed Diomande.
Sources in Denmark last night confirmed the 22-year-old midfield playmaker is on his way to Glasgow as Gers boss Philippe Clement prepares to push the button on his second signing since taking over.
It’s been a slow start to the January window at Ibrox, with Fabio Silva the only new face to have checked in so far following his loan switch from Wolves.
But Clement is hoping to kick things up a gear this week - with Ivory Coast Under 23 international Diomande set to lead a mini influx of reinforcements.
