Leitrim GAA are seeking a new manager after Mickey Graham stepped down as manager this evening, just two months after his appointment.Graham had been installed as Leitrim manager on a three-year term in August, succeeding Andy Moran in the role. However, this evening he informed the Leitrim GAA Management Committee of his decision not to continue in the role for 2025."Mickey was fully committed and looking forward to his role ahead but circumstances beyond his control have led to him making this decision and regrettably, for all concerned, he will not be continuing in his appointed position," a statement said."Leitrim GAA will now recommence the process of appointing a new manager."The news is a significant blow to Leitrim, who are now embarking on a search for his successor.

Graham's appointment as manager had been regarded as a significant one, given his CV.The former Cavan player had guided his native county to a first Ulster title in 23 years in 2020, and before that had achieved the extraordinary feat of leading tiny Longford club Mullinalaghta to a stunning Leinster SFC title success in 2018.Prior to his appointment, Graham had been assistant manager to Moran throughout 2024.
