Galway have confirmed former Leitrim manager Mickey Graham has joined Padraic Joyce's Galway back-room team.Specualtion was rife that Graham would be linking up with the Tribesmen after he surprisngly stepped down as Leitrim boss a fortnight ago.
He'd only taken up the position on a three-year term in August, succeeding Andy Moran.Following a county committee meeting on Thursday night, Galway GAA confirmed they have extended Joyce’s term as manager until 2026, with Graham and David Morris coming on to the coaching ticket.Selectors John Concannon, John Divilly and Micheál Ó Domhnaill are also staying on with last summer's beaten All-Ireland SFC finalists.Former Cavan player Graham guided his native county to a first Ulster title in 23 years in 2020, and before that led tiny Longford club Mullinalaghta to a stunning Leinster SFC title success in 2018.Prior to his appointment, Graham had also been assistant manager to Moran throughout 2024.
