Frustrated Kenny Miller reckons Michael Beale must lift the Viaplay Cup and reach the Europa League knockout stages to save his Rangers career.

The boss was met with a chorus of boos following the narrow win over Motherwell at Ibrox with the Scottish Premiership victory making it three wins in a row - but the standard of the performance left huge sections of the home crowd raging at the full-time whistle.

And Miller reckons that the pressure is mounting on Beale after the slog against the Steelmen - branding the atmosphere inside "toxic".

He reckons the boss is now working on a game-to-game basis - as he insists any slip in the cup clash with Livingston on Wednesday or Aberdeen on Saturday will spark a major Ibrox inquest behind the scenes.
