PBSI gagal mememuhi target meraih dua gelar di BWF World Championships 2023. Persoalan mental diakui sebagai salah satu penyebabnya.

Alih-alih merebut dua gelar di Kejuaraan Dunia Bulutangkis 2023, PP PBSI kembali memperpanjang puasa gelar di ajang level Grade 1 pada tahun ini.

Membawa 14 wakil ke Copenhagen, Denmark, tak satupun yang bisa meraih gelar juara. Kejutan terjadi ketika Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti melaju ke final ganda putri.
