Men's Curling World Championships: Czech Republic win dramatic extra end showdown against Turkey and USA overcome Korea

The Czech Republic clinched a dramatic 7-6 victory over Turkey in an extra end showdown at the men's Curling World Championships.

Turkey started out as the stronger team but Lukas Klima's side hit back in the later stages to push ahead. Ad But two stones from Ugurcan Karagoz in the final moments of the battle levelled the scores and sent the match into a tense 11th end.

The USA stormed to an emphatic 11-5 victory over Korea, as John Shuster's rink picked up nine points in just three ends in Ottawa, Canada.
