Dundee United rookie Mathew Cudjoe is targeting a dream World Cup spot with Ghana despite never being capped for the senior side and playing just twice for the Tangerines first team.
The young African ace arrived at Tannadice last summer but didn’t feature for the Tangerines until a substitute appearance at Easter Road in April.
Cudjoe made his first start the following month in a defeat to Rangers at Ibrox but showed glimpses of his exciting talent. Now the teenage starlet is hoping to make a big impact next season with European football to look forward and hopes to force his way into Otto Addo’s Black Stars squad.
That could even see him go up against global superstar Cristiano Ronaldo with Ghana in a group alongside Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea for Qatar 2022.
