Snoop Dogg has seen his claims over interest in investing in Celtic slammed. In an exclusive interview with the Sunday Mail, the multi-millionaire rapper said he would be mad not to consider putting cash into his "favourite club" after being inspired by what Ryan Reynolds has achieved with Wrexham.
Snoop Dogg has held a long-term interest in putting cash into a sports team. The 17-times Grammy nominated artist hailed the "special" Celtic fans and joked that mascot Hoopy the Hound was a perfect match for his Snoop Dogg moniker.
But the talk of splashing money on the Scottish Premiership champions didn't impress former Liverpool and Aston Villa star Dean Saunders.
As the story was flagged on the talkSPORT Breakfast Show, he questioned the motivation of Snoop: "Has he got a few quid? I reckon he is probably caked in money.
