Mason Mount could take on new Manchester United challenge he didn't have at Chelsea

After a tough negotiation process, Manchester United finally look set to capture their man. Personal terms with Mason Mount had been agreed for some time with the sticking point coming in the talks with Chelsea who were adamant about receiving £65m.

Fortunately, a deal has now been struck which sees United stick to the £55m payment with £5m worth of add-ons. MEN Sport understands the Reds are delighted with the addition of Mount especially as they can now focus on other signings and departures.

One player who is likely to leave the club is Fred with Fulham particularly interested in his services. After the final match of the Premier League season, Fulham boss Marco Silva was spotted in deep conversation with Fred before departing back to London so it would not be a shock to see the Brazilian leave.

If he was to bid farewell to Old Trafford, United could have a slight problem.
