Former Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly considering a move for Fred. The 30-year-old could be one of several exits out of Old Trafford this summer as United look to operate within Financial Fair Play rules by using sales to fund arrivals.

The Manchester Evening News understands that Fulham are interested in the midfielder. The Brazilian ended up with six goals and assists apiece this season but started just half of his 56 outings, with just 12 coming in the Premier League.

It’s thought Erik ten Hag prefers to keep hold of the younger Scott McTominay at age 26. Mourinho has recruited a number of former Premier League talents at Roma, including ex-Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham and Nemanja Matic, once of United.

Now, the Sun claims Mourinho has his eyes on Fred. ALSO READ: Louis Saha sends transfer advice to Manchester United ace Fred The Portuguese manager is said to be a Fred fan and has been given funds to facilitate pursuits for targets this summer with a Serie A title challenge in mind.
