Mancunians have been feeling the full force of autumn weather across the weekend and the start of the week. With cold temperatures and frequent rainfall, it feels like the record-breaking heatwave we saw during the summer is now a distant memory.
Despite this, Greater Manchester will experience much better conditions today, providing a break in between the cold temperatures and rain.
For most of the early morning and afternoon, Greater Manchester will see bright skies, lovely sun, and warmer temperatures. Today, temperatures will peak at 16C with relatively low wind speeds, providing a nice dry climate before the rain and dark clouds take over the rest of the week. A light easterly breeze developing but feeling fairly warm in the sunshine. Maximum temperature 16 °C." For tonight, it adds: "Generally dry overnight with high cloud spreading northwards, leading to a milder night than last night.
