Former Manchester United striker Dwight Yorke believes Harry Maguire should leave Old Trafford this summer but has warned Scott McTominay he may not be allowed to depart.
MEN Sport reported last week a bid had been accepted by United from West Ham for their former captain. The bid was understood to be in the region of £30m.
However, on Tuesday it became clear a deal on personal terms between the Iron and Maguire could not be reached. At the weekend, United did bid farewell to Fred after he left for Fenerbahce. "It's easy for me to say to get rid of this player and that one," he explained. "Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay's departures have been well documented and heavily linked to other clubs recently.
If Man United can get some money for these players, then I think they should move on. "With McTominay, if Casemiro was to get injured, we don't have anyone else to replace him with now Fred is gone, so I can imagine Man United keeping hold of McTominay for a while longer.
