Shola Shoretire has scored his first goal in professional football. The Manchester United starlet joined Bolton Wanderers on loan in January for the rest of the season and though there have been ups and downs he ended the league campaign on a positive note.
The versatile forward found himself a regular starter during the first two months of his stint but lost his spot in the side after some underwhelming displays.
With Bolton's places in the Play-Offs secured ahead of the final day, manager Ian Evatt made several changes for the final fixture at Bristol Rovers which saw Shoretire come in for just his second start in 10 games.
The teenager didn't disappoint and pounced on a loose ball in the area to hammer home the first goal of his career. ALSO READ: United squad vs West Ham includes Alejandro Garnacho “I’ve always said I’ve got a massive belief in the squad and they’re all capable of stepping up to the plate.
