A number of Premier League clubs are said to hold an interest in Marcel Sabitzer, who is on loan at Manchester United from Bayern Munich until the end of the season.
Reds fans have been impressed with his performances during his 11 outings since his January deadline day switch. The Austrian teed up Marcus Rashford’s winner in Wednesday’s 1-0 victory over Brentford having netted his first United goal against Fulham in the FA Cup last month.
Sabitzer had been tracked by United for a number of years before his move, which was triggered upon the news that Christian Eriksen would be ruled out until April with an ankle injury. But during his appearances in the interim, the 29-year-old has apparently felt comfortable having lifted the Carabao Cup with the club in February.
