Manchester United have reached a ‘verbal agreement’ with Benfica for Odysseas Vlachodimos, according to reports. United are keen to recruit a new number two goalkeeper with Dean Henderson's future unclear.

Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace are both keen on signing the England international. With Tom Heaton injured, Erik ten Hag won't sanction any move for Henderson until a new goalkeeper is signed.

Nathan Bishop has also left to join Sunderland. It's now reported by Sky Germany that United have made an ‘official offer’ for Benfica goalkeeper Vlachodimos.

However, Fenerbahce goalkeeper Bayindir has also been linked and was pictured bidding farewell to the club's fans on Thursday evening, fuelling further speculation.
