Robbie Savage has questioned Manchester United over their "desperate" efforts to snap up Sergio Reguilon and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Premier League rivals Tottenham.

United have completed a deadline day loan transfer for Tottenham left-back Reguilon with Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia currently injured.

United have also been credited with an interest in midfielder Hojbjerg but their primary target is Fiorentina's Sofyan Amrabat.

But there is still work to do to finalise Amrabat's proposed switch before the 11pm cut-off on Friday night.
