Manchester United are not expected to make Marcel Sabitzer’s loan move permanent, according to reports. The Manchester Evening News revealed earlier this month that United will not be keeping Burnley loanee Wout Weghorst beyond his temporary deal with the player having scored just two goals in 30 games, of which none have come in the Premier League.

Now, the Daily Mail claims that Bayern Munich loanee Sabitzer is set to face the same fate. The midfielder, like Weghorst, is said to still be admired by Erik ten Hag but the club are keen to concentrate money on better acquisitions. The Austrian scored three goals in 18 appearances, including a brace against Sevilla in the Europa League quarter-finals. Meanwhile, it is being reported by Dutch website 1908.nl that Eredivisie champions Feyenoord have an interest in bringing Amad on loan for the season.

The forward scored 14 goals for Sunderland during his season-long stay this campaign. He guided the Black Cats into the Championship play-offs, netting a wonderful goal in the first leg of their semi-final with ultimate promotees Luton Town.
