Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney tipped to fight Jake Paul at Old Trafford

Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn believes that a bout between Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney and YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul at Old Trafford is a 'makeable fight'.

Hearn was speaking about the prospect of Rooney and Paul fighting on Rio Ferdinand's FIVE YouTube channel. During the conversation ahead of Anthony Joshua's clash with Jermaine Franklin at the O2 Arena on Saturday, Hearn admitted that the current D.C.

United manager has been known to text him about battling Paul in the ring. He explained: "I have actually spoken to Wayne a few times about a Jake Paul fight.
