Anthony Joshua knows exactly what is on the line this evening when he faces Daniel Dubois at Wembley.
The former heavyweight champion has won four fights back to back since last tasting defeat at the hands of the recently undisputed Oleksandr Usyk , with victories over Jermaine Franklin, Robert Helenius, Otto Wallin and Francis Ngannou reigniting hopes of a world title fight.
And a win over IBF title holder Dubois could put him in the frame for a trilogy match with Usyk or a long-awaited legacy fight with Tyson Fury - depending on how their WBA (Super), WBO, IBO and WBC title rematch plays out come December. Dubois, meanwhile, will be hoping for the same shot should he reign supreme over Joshua this evening - his 21-2 record only smudged by Usyk last summer as well as Joe Joyce back in 2020.
