Manchester United are 'interested' in signing Leicester City winger Harvey Barnes in this summer's transfer window. That is according to a report by the Mail, which claims that United 'like' the 25-year-old but face competition for his signature.
The Burnley-born wide man is expected to leave Leicester this summer following their relegation to the Championship last season.
Newcastle United have been installed as the favourites to sign him and have reportedly done the 'groundwork' to try and get a deal in place, although they have not yet reached an agreement on a fee.
Leicester are said to be holding out for £40million and that could be a stretch too far for the Magpies' summer budget. Leicester, following relegation, are having to cut their cloth this summer and have already sold James Maddison to Tottenham Hotspur and seen fellow midfield ace Youri Tielemans join Aston Villa on a free transfer.
