Manchester United have 'considered' a move for Fenerbahce goalkeeper Altay Bayindir ahead of the summer transfer window closing in just under six weeks' time.
That is according to a report by the Mail, which claims that United, who have won each of their opening three pre-season friendlies this summer, had identified the Turkish shot-stopper as a possible target.
United, despite already signing Andre Onana, are open to bringing in a second goalkeeper before the end of the window. It is claimed that Bayindir 'was the subject of interest' from United, suggesting they may have moved on and are now exploring alternative options.
They have touched base with the agent of Urawa Red Diamonds Zion Suzuki. United, ideally, need to bring in a second-choice goalkeeper this summer amid uncertainty surrounding the futures of both Tom Heaton and Dean Henderson.
