Manchester United are 'interested' in signing highly-rated Brentford right-back Aaron Hickey ahead of this summer's transfer window.

That is according to a report by Football Insider, who claim that the Reds have had scouts 'watching' the Scotland international this season.

United, who will be looking to tighten their grip on a top-four berth when they face Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday night, could move for a new right-back this summer amid uncertainty surrounding the futures of both Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot.

The duo have frequently been rotated by United manager Erik ten Hag since the World Cup, with the Dutchman seemingly undecided on who he considers his first-choice option.
