Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana suggested the chance to reunite with Erik ten Hag was a big factor in his move from Inter Milan.
On Thursday, the Reds announced they had purchased the Cameroonian shot stopper from the Serie A giants for a fee that could rise to £43.8m.
Onana is no stranger to playing under the current United boss after spending five years with him at Ajax. During this time, the pair won the Eredivisie on three occasions and reached the semi-finals of the Champions League.
It was this success which fuelled Onana's desire to move to Old Trafford. Want to join our MUFC Pro club for a totally ad-free version of the MEN’s Man United app packed with premium features?
