Manchester United have reportedly spoken to Inter Milan about wing-back Federico Dimarco but face a battle with Real Madrid for his signature.

The 25-year-old made 50 appearances and scored six goals in the 2022/23 season for the Serie A side. United are aiming to strengthen their squad this summer ahead of Erik ten Hag's second season in charge at Old Trafford.

The centre forward area is a priority but other areas will also be addressed. United already have Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia at the club.

However, they are reported to be interested in Italy left-back Dimarco. According to The Independent, both United and Real have spoken to Inter about a potential deal.
