Manchester United are laying the groundwork for the potential signing of a goalkeeper this summer with three targets in mind, according to reports.
United are thought to be eyeing a new shot-stopper, with the future of David De Gea uncertain. The 32-year-old's current contract expires at the end of this month and he is yet to sign a new deal with the club.
There is an option to extend the current terms fo 12 months, although the club want to significantly lower his £375,000-per-week wages.
Erik ten Hag is keen on adding competition between the posts regardless of De Gea's future, and the Dutchman could enter the market for a goalkeeper who can cope with his demands in possession - an area De Gea has struggled with this season.
