Manchester United could table a bid for Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana this week, according to a report. The shot-stopper has been backed for a move to Old Trafford with David de Gea looking increasingly likely to leave after 12 years.
The Spaniard is out of contract next week and is yet to sign a reduced-terms renewal. Erik ten Hag has refused to confirm him as next season’s number one after a spate of errors that led to goals this season.
As a result, he has added a new goalkeeper to his list of summer targets, along with a striker and midfielder. United could make a formal approach for Onana, who played under Ten Hag at Ajax, within the coming days according to Gazzetta dello Sport (via Sport Witness).
