Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes has issued a blunt response on social media following the FA Cup victory against Wigan Athletic on Monday.

Erik ten Hag's side booked their spot in the fourth round of the competition with a 2-0 win at the DW Stadium, thanks to goals from Portuguese duo Diogo Dalot and Fernandes.

The United defender opened the scoring in the 22nd minute with a well-placed effort into the bottom right corner before the Red Devils captain doubled the lead from the penalty spot in the 74th minute.

It was a game that once again saw controversy due to refereeing decisions, with no VAR in use on this occasion due to the game being held at a stadium outside the Premier League, after United were awarded the penalty that Fernandes would eventually go on to score.
