Last summer, American billionaire Todd Boehly completed the acquisition of Chelsea from Roman Abramovich after he was forced to sell the Stamford Bridge club.
In the year which has followed, Boehly has discovered the hard way how tough it can be to acclimatise to the fast nature of the Premier League.
Initially, the owner put his weight behind Thomas Tuchel and declared he would not be looking to switch from the German. By September, Tuchel was gone following a falling out which reportedly stemmed from him being too hands-on when it came to recruitment.
Brighton and Hove Albion manager Graham Potter was quickly appointed with Boehly promising to build a long term project around the Englishman.
