Manchester United are in talks with Hannibal Mejbri over a new contract after being impressed by the midfielder in the early weeks of the season, according to reports.
Hannibal made his first appearance of the season in last weekend's 3-1 defeat at home to Brighton and Hove Albion, coming off the bench to net his first senior goal for the club.
It is the latest chance taken by the 20-year-old to impress Erik ten Hag, following an encouraging pre-season. The midfielder's current deal runs until next summer, albeit the club have an option to extend for a further 12 months.
However, 90min reports that they will go one better and are set to offer him a new deal.
