Manchester United have announced goalkeeper Ondrej Mastny has left the club. The 21-year-old has been a United player since 2018 but has left Old Trafford to return to his former side Vysocina Jihlava in the second tier of his native Czech Republic.
The transfer is subject to international clearance. Mastny never made an appearance in the senior team but was quickly promoted from the Under-18s after his first season and was a mainstay in the Under-21 side, playing in the Premier League 2, FA Youth Cup, EFL Trophy and UEFA Youth League.
He spent the second half of the 2022/23 season on loan with Portadown in Northern Ireland, making eight senior appearances. After five years at the club, he has returned to his homeland and has become the second goalkeeper to leave United on Tuesday.
