Manchester United target Achraf Hakimi would be an “unbelievable signing” for Erik ten Hag, according to transfer insider Dean Jones. The Moroccan international signed for PSG from Borussia Dortmund last year, but he’s already being linked away from the French capital.

Ten Hag has already signed two defenders this window, with Tyrell Malacia and Lisandro Martinez arriving from Dutch outfits PSV and Ajax, but the United boss appears to still need a right-back.

With Aaron Wan-Bissaka being linked with a return to Crystal Palace, Diogo Dalot could end up being the club’s only player in that area.

Therefore, Football Insider believe the Red Devils are plotting an ambitious move for Hakimi, with the report claiming that United are ‘working on a deal’ to convince the 23-year-old to come to the Premier League.
