Confident Manchester United star Diogo Dalot has ominously warned Scotland that Portugal are hitting their best form for years.

Scotland face the in-form Portuguese tonight at Hampden, who have a 100 per cent record in the Nations League so far. They cruised to a 3-1 win in Poland at the weekend and although Dalot is expecting a tough game, he reckons his side are at the top of their game.

He said: "I think the first half in Poland was the best Portugal have played for many, many years. We could and should have scored a lot more goals because we created a lot of chances.

We were well organised without the ball too. "But Scotland will be a different type of game and we expect it to be difficult.
