Manchester United have agreed two deals this summer thanks to the help of influential agent Jorge Mendes after a thaw in their relations.
Mendes had a fallout with the club after client Cristiano Ronaldo's acrimonious exit from Old Trafford in 2022, compounded by the infamous interview he conducted with Piers Morgan.
But he's already helped United's new transfer team secure the signature of Leny Yoro, and they're now on the brink of announcing Manuel Ugarte too.
Yoro's arrival in a £52million move from Lille suggested the once fiery relationship had cooled, and the expected £42m signing of PSG's Uruguayan midfielder Ugarte seems to confirm that the fallout from the Ronaldo episode is now well in the past.
