Manchester United target Martin Dubravka is ‘very keen’ for his transfer from Newcastle United to go through, according to journalist Dean Jones. The 33-year-old is believed to be the next target on manager Erik ten Hag’s wish list after the Red Devils finally agreed a fee with Ajax for winger Antony following protracted negotiations.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that United have now ‘reached an agreement in principle’ to sign Dubravka as they look to provide some cover and competition for David de Gea.
It’s claimed that Newcastle are ‘ready to accept’ an offer that includes a £5 million option-to-buy clause with the final details currently being discussed.
Romano also states that personal terms have been agreed between the Old Trafford outfit and Dubravka, who currently earns £44,000-per-week and has asked the Newcastle board to leave as he dreams of playing for Ten Hag’s charges.
