The representatives of Manchester United target Antony ‘would be happy’ for their client to move to Old Trafford this summer, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano. United have been attempting to reunite the 22-year-old with his former manager Erik ten Hag for several weeks now but are yet to reach an agreement with his current club Ajax.
Romano has previously stated that the Red Devils have a ‘genuine interest’ in Antony as Ten Hag looks to make his mark on the first-team squad he inherited from Ralf Rangnick.
And GOAL have provided an update on the Brazil international’s situation, claiming that United have launched a €60 million (£51m) bid for his services.
However, it’s believed the Old Trafford outfit are significantly short of Ajax’s valuation, with the reigning Eredivisie champions demanding €80m (£68m) for Antony.
