Manchester United and Atalanta will continue discussing the potential transfer of Rasmus Hojlund but the two clubs are around €20million apart in their respective valuations, according to reports.
Hojlund enjoyed an impressive debut campaign with the Italian side, scoring nine times in 32 Serie A appearances. The 20-year-old was far more prolific for his native Denmark, with six goals from four matches this calendar year.
United manager Erik ten Hag sees a new striker as the absolute priority this summer, identifying Hojlund among several potential options.
Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen were of interest but are thought to be financially out of reach, with the Atalanta star expected to cost less.
