Now the two teams will meet in a repeat of last season's semi-final, which saw City win 5-1 on aggregate with a 4-0 victory at the Etihad Stadium.

This time around it will see City face Madrid in the quarter-final. The first leg will take place at the Santiago Bernabeu before the return leg is hosted at the Etihad Stadium.
