Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling is on the cusp of sealing an exit from the Etihad Stadium and a move to Premier League rivals Chelsea.
Sterling is understood to have agreed personal terms with the west London outfit, with the two clubs having agreed a fee in excess of £45million.
The deal is now nearing completion, meaning Sterling will be City's second big-name departure of the week. Gabriel Jesus sealed a move to Arsenal on Tuesday, a little over an hour before the Blues announced the arrival of Kalvin Phillips from Leeds United.
Phillips has followed the likes of Stefan Ortega and Erling Haaland in sealing a move to the Etihad Stadium. Considering the transfer window is not even a month old, it has been a rapid start to proceedings for City, in terms of both arrivals and departures.
