Manchester City will be represented by Monckton Chambers lawyer Paul Harris in the ongoing case against the Premier League. Harris is seen, in some circles, as a 'super lawyer' thanks to his previous work.
Harris and his direct history with the Blues dates back to the club's previous dice with football authorities when UEFA tried to ban them from the Champions League.
The lawyer helped lead a successful appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) against expelling the club which, ultimately, paved the way for City going all the way and landing European football's biggest prize in 2023.
However, his work spans longer than that in sport. In 2014, Harris represented Premier League outfit Liverpool, in the wake of Luis Suarez's 'biting incident' with Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini.
