Manchester City loanee Tommy Doyle has admitted he would be 'buzzing' to return to Sheffield United next season after securing promotion to the Premier League on Wednesday night.

While the Blues were taking a big step towards the Premier League, the Blades were booking their place in the promised land with a 2-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion.

Sander Berge and Anel Ahmedhozic both scored at Bramall Lane to spark jubilant scenes. For Doyle, the win marked his first promotion in his senior career and when asked about returning to South Yorkshire next season, he admitted he was open to the possibility.

Speaking to BBC Radio Sheffield, the 21-year-old central midfielder said: "When you come to a club like Sheffield United, you have to buy into it and that is the only way you become successful.
