Sergio Gomez is expected back in training with Manchester City after the November international break after positive assessments of a training injury.
Gomez suffered an issue with his ankle last week during a session at the City Football Academy and the fact that it wasn't a contact injury raised concerns that the lay-off could be significant.
The 23-year-old arrived at the Etihad on Saturday for the match against Bournemouth on crutches. However, the injury has now been confirmed as a straightforward sprain to the ankle and the expectation is that he will be able to return to working with the group after the international break.
